Statement from the Chair:

While our parish has always seen change, the pace is accelerating. We face significant developments like the new logistics park, comparable in size to Park Street and How Wood combined, and proposals for thousands of new homes that could double the size of Chiswell Green. With the upcoming reorganisation of local government, it’s more crucial than ever that our community retains a strong local voice.

My hope is that St Stephen Parish Council will continue to thrive, providing that essential voice for our community. With my daughter, her husband, and their young daughter now settled in Chiswell Green, I am deeply committed to ensuring we build a vibrant and resilient future for them and for all our residents – one that is far from a faceless suburb and rich with fulfilled potential.
