St Stephen Parish Neighbourhood Plan Open for Public Consultation

After some five years of preparation, the St Stephen Parish Neighbourhood Plan is now open for Public Consultation. This is the stage that enables residents of the Parish’s three villages – Bricket Wood, Chiswell Green and Park Street – to comment on a draft version of the Plan and its policies before it proceeds to the next stage.

You can view the Draft Plan, associated documents and find out how to comment, deadline 30 November 2020, by visiting the Neighbourhood Plan web page

Welcome to the website for St Stephen Parish Council. Lying just South of St Albans in Hertfordshire the Parish consists of three main villages Bricket Wood, Chiswell Green and Park Street, with the latter incorporating the areas of How Wood, Frogmore and Colney Street. The Parish Council provides services such as community centres, play areas, sports pitches, allotments, woodlands and open space.

Here you’ll find details of the Council meetings and who your councillors are.

Residents are welcome to attend Full Council and Committee meetings, except the Human Resources Committee. Meetings are currently held virtually on due to Coronavirus restrictions but previously were held in the Council Chamber at the St Stephen Parish Centre, Station Road, Bricket Wood, unless advertised otherwise. Times and dates are shown on the Council Meetings calendar and Full Council agendas displayed on your Parish Noticeboards. Meeting agendas and minutes are posted on the website.

St Stephen Parish is a vibrant community, with many groups offering a wide range of leisure and social activities. You will find details of events on the Community events calendar and details of the various groups meetings and using the Parish Centre and Greenwood Park Community Centre on the What’s On page.
