Remembrance Service 2021

Join us on Sunday, November 14, for the Parade of Standards, led by the Harpenden Pipe Band, which will take place along Park Street from the railway bridge to the War Memorial. where, at 2.45pm, the service of remembrance will take place, led by Rev’d Kylie Hodgins, Vicar of St Luke’s Church, Bricket Wood. The programme detailing the order of service will be available free at the memorial.

Community Awards 2021

Honouring those who make a difference

Nominations have now CLOSED for this year’s St Stephen Parish Council Community Awards. There have been many deserving people nominated in the four categories:

  • Community Award      (for Individuals or an indivisible partnership of two)
  • Youth Community Award       (as above, but aged 18 or under)
  • Business Community Award
  • Group Community Award.

Those nominated, who have all made an exceptional contribution to the community, must now wait until the Christmas Market in Greenwood Park on December 5th when the council will announce which of them has been successful and present the awards.

The winners’ names will also appear on the Honours Boards at the Parish Centre as a lasting reminder of their achievement.
