Armed Forces Day – A Wonderful Success!
St Stephen Parish Council’s Armed Forces Day event, held on Sunday 29th June, was a huge success and brought our community together in celebration of our Armed Forces.
A highlight of the day was the spectacular flypast of the iconic Lancaster Bomber – a truly wonderful and emotional sight enjoyed by all. We were delighted to have arranged this special flypast and will do our best to arrange another for next year’s celebration.
From the parade and flag-raising ceremony led by Deputy Lord Lieutenant Mark Bretton, to the afternoon of music, entertainment and community spirit, the event was filled with pride and gratitude for our Armed Forces.
Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make the day so special. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
